Data Rights & GDPR Requests
How users can request access, correction, export or deletion of their HeartRise data.

1. Your Data Rights
Depending on your location, including if you are in the European Union or European Economic Area, you may have rights regarding your personal data.
These rights may include:
- Right to access your personal data.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal data.
- Right to request deletion of personal data.
- Right to restrict certain processing.
- Right to object to certain processing.
- Right to data portability where applicable.
- Right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
2. Data Export Request
You may request an export of your HeartRise account data, including recovery profile data, daily check-ins and recovery progress data where technically available.
3. Data Deletion Request
You may request deletion of your HeartRise account and associated personal data, subject to legal, security or operational retention requirements.
4. How to Submit a Request
During Early Access, data rights requests are handled manually. Send an email to support@heartrise.app with the subject line:

Please include:
- The email address connected to your HeartRise account.
- The type of request: access, correction, export or deletion.
- Any details needed to identify your account and request.
5. Response Time
HeartRise will aim to respond to valid data rights requests without undue delay and generally within one month, unless additional time is required by law.
6. Identity Verification
HeartRise may need to verify your identity before processing a data rights request to protect your account and recovery data.
